Brief History of the Department :
The University Science Instrumentation centre (UGC) started offering PG Diploma Course in Instrumentation in 1981. Subsequently this programme is upgraded as Masters Programme in Instrumentation from 1981. Both the department of Instrumentation and University Science Instrumentation centre are functionally integrated.
