Brief History of the Department :
The Department of Hindi and Comparative literature instituted in the Academic year 2013-14, later on in the Academic year 2018-19 this course were brought under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) the department embarked on the PG Programme (M.A. Hindi) during the academic year 2018-19. The Programme of study have been designed in conformity with the requirements for the employment spread over in various academic and industry oriented pursuit.

1. On 14th November every year, our Official Language day (Hindi Diwas) is celebrated as a University Programme in Mahatma Jyotibha Phule Bhavan. In the presence of Vice-chancellor, Rector, Registrar, Principals, Deans, Heads, Professors, Teaching Staff and Students from different departments.
2. Special guest lectures from subject experts.
3. AP-SET, UGC NTA-NET oriented Classes
4. Hindi Proficiency practice classes.
